Statement
Specialised in contemporary and historical works of Asian photography, Zen Foto Gallery will present vintage and modern prints by Japanese photographers Seiji Kurata, Tamiko Nishimura, Hideka Tonomura and Kazuyoshi Usui. We will also show works by Chris Shaw and Robert Frank.

Established in 2009 by Mark Pearson, Zen Foto Gallery is based in Tokyo, Japan and specialises in contemporary and historical works of Asian photography. We aim to show interesting, experimental exhibitions and publish limited edition photobooks accompanying most of our exhibitions to introduce stimulating works that would otherwise be rarely seen.
