Inspired by Pollock and Schnabe, Sacha Jafri's unique style has developed from a figurative background into his signature abstract, colourist narrative style of magical realism.

Iranian/ Indian with a French Heritage, artist Sacha Jafri lives and works between London, New York and Dubai. After graduating with a first class honours Master of Arts from Oxford University in 1999 Sacha went on to hold sell-out shows throughout Europe, America, Russia, The Middle East and Asia. Jafri is considered to be one of the world’s leading young painters, and in 2008 was the youngest artist in history to be offered a museum based 10 year retrospective world tour which opened at the Sharjah Museum of Modern and Islamic Art. Jafri is collected internationally and is held in notable public and private collections including those of Kevin Spacey, George Clooney, Bill Gates, Sir Philip Green, Madonna, Sir Tim Rice, Sir Michael Parkinson, David Beckham, Lewis Hamilton, The Sultan of Brunei, The ruling Maktoum and Al-Qassimi families of The UAE, Prince Albert of Monaco, Prince William and many others. He was commissioned to paint the official paintings to celebrate the careers of several high profile sports people including Tiger Woods, David Beckham and John McEnroe. He was also commissioned by Disney to paint and sculpt a life size Elephant for the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square, and the official London Olympic painting for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Jafri was featured on the front cover of the Financial Times magazine as an artist to watch.
